20th Century Fox have just announced the first six films to be released on the highly anticiapted Blu-ray Disc. They are indeed an odd bag of films and one must wonder how they picked this particular group, blindfolded dart throwing against a wall of film names?

Kingdom of Heaven - good choice.
Maybe the rest were an attempt to cater for as many tastes as possible, or are films that can do with a bit of extra press to move sales/publicise sequels when the BR stuff arrives?
